I know that I've learned a lot about writing just from reading my grandfather's works and it's great when others appreciate it as well. I hope you enjoy Riding the Pulp Trail!Laurie Powershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10429604692700662254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093919722274622933.post-28890064676250794832011-09-24T09:23:10.065-07:002011-09-24T09:23:10.065-07:00Strange you should post this review Pete, I've...Strange you should post this review Pete, I've just read Riding The Pulp Trail by Paul Powers, which was edited by Laurie, and hope to post a review of it sometime next week.

I've met Laurie too, when she visited the UK a while ago.

Oh yeah, a review of .45-Caliber Desperado is about to appear in the next few days.Steve Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11631734673248632467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5093919722274622933.post-14561300260598266332011-09-23T16:29:03.918-07:002011-09-23T16:29:03.918-07:00I'm glad you like this book and took the time ...I'm glad you like this book and took the time to review it, Pete. It's one of my favorite reads of the past few years. I think it'll be of interest to most anyone working at writing as a career. It's a grand read and Laurie Powers (a damn fine writer herself) deserves applause for working hard to keep her grandfather's work in print.

Cheers,
MattMatthew P.
